Stories are the most effective way to share information. This isn't a new idea. We can trace evidence of storytelling to cave drawings in Lascaux and Chavaux, France, as far back as 30,000 years ago.
It seems we all have a story to tell. However, unless you are working or living in a place where it is perfectly fine and fully supported to “tell your story,” you might need to be careful when sharing; this is especially true when delivering bad news. In some organizations, you could put your career in jeopardy. And in some countries, you could be putting your life in danger. These are just a couple examples of how powerful stories can be.
Luckily, for most of us, storytelling is an important way to step up and speak up without fear. And speaking up is something we need to do now more then ever if we hope to make the world a better place! This applies to boardrooms and classrooms and even our communities. A well-constructed story can inspire people to take action and help lead a movement. There is no better way to construct a story than in 3D, building it with LEGO® bricks using the method of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.
If you are looking to tell better stories or facilitate others to construct theirs, we have a great program for you.
Are you a teacher searching for ways to engage students?
Are you a facilitator helping people to construct ideas?
Are you a community leader looking for better ways to build support?
Are you an entrepreneur or intrapreneur searching for strategies to gain momentum for your idea, product, or service?
Maybe you are all of these:
A consultant, facilitator, trainer, educator, leader, salesperson, parent, youth worker, community builder, etc. After all, we are all communicators. So if you are looking for a better way to support the messages you share, join us for this interactive course: Strategic Storytelling with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods.
Remember: It's not what you say but how you say it!
Say it with bricks!
